Topics I like to discuss

What topics do you like to discuss?

Self growth,  self care, self-discovery,  discipline of self, finances, savings options, mental wellness, physical health, boundaries,  kindness, time, and resources.

The reason I enjoy and not only love discussing these topics is that they involve a storyline,  storytelling of others.

Stories teach us about life, ourselves, and others. Storytelling can develop an understanding, respect, and appreciation for other cultures. Stories can promote a positive attitude to others from different  communities, ethnicities, races, and religions.

Storytelling is key to every human being. We become better people, improved versions when we lend others our time, ears to hear and learn from them. When we choose not to listen, we deny ourselves an opportunity to learn, and unlearn. We also miss out on an opportunity to be challenged so that we can improve our lives.

Stories appeal to our senses and emotions, not only drawing our attention more easily. Stories create a shared emotion between the speaker and the audience. When the character of a story is sad, happy, scared, or overjoyed, these emotions resonate with the person telling the story.

When a story is delivered accordingly, it might last a lifetime. Stories have been known to inspire, enliven, and create instant rapport among people. Stories can move an audience to take action and change lives in the future. Stories are also deeply wired into our minds.

We will never know it all, and we don’t know it. We will never know others’ stories until we give them a chance.

Choose to be a better listen than you have so as to takeaway some ingredients that might be applicable in your life.

Much love ❤️
