What do you enjoy most about writing?
There are many reasons why I enjoy writing both in my professional world and personal life. It is one of the many ways to express my thoughts, feelings, and emotions, confidently.

Our writing allows us to foster communication with others in different ways. I have found out that people who enjoy journaling utilze the journaling method as a strategy to debrief, regroup, and recollect their thoughts and feelings. Writing allows me to explain myself how I feel, to name my pain, the emotion I am experiencing, and to continue improving my communication skills. More so, journaling or writing enables us to be detailed from the get-go. When I choose to be clear and concise about what we are conveying to our audience, we are understood.
Writing enables me to express who I am while fostering my strength. It is an opportunity to communicate with others, reflect on my experiences, and learn from my experiences. I once heard from an audience that spoken language does not equal great or the best writing..true, not true?!. There some truth.
From an early age, I have been made to understand that we who speak more than one language, think first in our native language, and then translate to English. 😂😂😂. This aspect has some truth because when I am talking to people, I find myself using words from my language. The listener never said anything or interjected to find out the meaning of the words or what I meant.
When I listen to speakers and read articles, posts, or blogs of people who are bilingual, I can relate. You can read the expressions that almost come out in their native language. If you are a humorous speaker and/or writer, you can easily insert the language to flow along!.😂😂.
Enjoyment of my writing depends on the topics. It has been stated to write or speak on what you are most passionate about because it comes effortless. I have realized that when I am not in the right headspace to write about certain topics, I am all over the place. When we write about our trauma, live experiences, and pain, it means unpacking what is in our core. This is never easy for anyone because shame and guilt are valid emotions that can be a struggle to release when the time is not ripe.
In my professional world, writing is a need and important to be concise. In my line of work, and over the years, it has been stated that if it is not documented, it never happened. When we write documents that can be subpoenaed, writing professionally is vital, and one remains objective at all times and refrained from being subjective. When we write in a subjective manner, it is no longer professional writing because there is a possibility of adding our emotions, opinions, and conclusions. Documentation will always need to be clear, concise, and in real time.
During my scholar seasons, there were some techniques I learned and relearned through MindTap. MindTap is known in most writings to develop writing from the subject line. This had never been a concept from my lenses. However, now applying this application to the various writings, and podcasts I have listened, I can now insert the concept of life changes as a topic, “people you know” writing about people who have influenced and /or problems people have faced along the way. These problems include the concept of pain we have gone through, which births, lived, and learned experiences.
Now that I am a co-authour, I hope to become a captivating writer in my future publish. To the people who have bought a copy of our book, thank you for your support. If you have not purchased a copy of our book, kindly reach out because I have plenty of copies with me 🥰😍.

As a new author and a person who loves writing, this quote remains my hardiness!.
Octavia E. Butler once said-You don’t start out writing good stuff.“ You start out writing crap and thinking it’s good stuff, and then gradually, you get better at it.”
In conclusion, I may not be your top-notch writer. However, through my ongoing practice and learning, I will eventually get there. Writing remains an ongoing process of sharing who you are, what you have overcome, become and your lived experiences. It is never a finished product!. To my late parents, Dad, and Mom, with all honor, thank you for choosing to bring me into this world.
