What strategies do you use to increase comfort in your daily life?
My list of things include:- Journaling, prayer, reflection, meditation, exercising monitoring my breathing, taking baths using the Aromatherapy shower gel, aplying scented body oil, snelling fresh warm laundry, enjoying fresh baked bread applied with jam and butter, listening to satellite music, listening to the birds,cooking, immersing in the smell of firewood, night drives, watching the stars, sitting in silence, spending time in nature and listening to my R&B Music.

Starting with a heart of gratitude at all times and giving my very best to each and every situation is vital for my own wellness. When we appreciate our surroundings, our breath, sight, hearing, ourselves, and others, God refuel us with sufficient grace to endure what is to come and ahead for us.
I choose to limit shortcuts because outcomes may not be successful due to missed steps. Allowing myself the opportunity to understand where I have been, where I am, and where I hope to go or be. Ensuring my sense of direction leads to accomplishing my goals. Writing down my goals enables me to be accountable with my path, which allows me to reslign my goals. An example I use is when I was weaning myself away from the chocolate chip cookies 🍪🍪, I chose not to go the cold turkey method. Instead, I took the moderation route by measuring how many cookies I ate each day . If today I had 5 chocolate chip cookies tomorrow, I would scale down to 4 or 3 chocolate chip cookies. It will not be an easy task, and I never said it was. However, accountability and resilience are what leveled my playfield.

My encouragement to you is to do what brings you utmost satisfaction, more joy, laughter, and gratitude. Do it in moderation and be intentional with yourself to what is reachable and realistic. After all, you only live once, and at times, we only have ONE chance, one time to get it right or make it right!.
