Mothers Day 2024

A mothers hands tell a story. They reach out to bless her children, pray for them and

reach up to praise the Lord at all times.. a mothers prayers are in the form of words and actions. A mother’s hands may tire,

but they never expire in their efforts

to do good  at all times for those dear to heart. My hands may age. However, my influence endures a lifetime.

Mother day has different meanings to all of us who are mothers in different ways. Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.

Isaiah 66:13: As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.

Isaiah 49:15: Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne?.

Proverbs 31:25: She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Memory lane 2023
This season of Mother’s Day, remembering those of us who have ambiguous losses. Ambiguous Loss, grief, is, the person is still alive, but we have lost them in other ways. Our losses and grief come in different ways.
Note– When one talks of loss and grief, it is not only through death.
Fast forward to Mothers Day 2024
I take this moment to remember all departed souls in my life. They include my grandmothers, mother, and sister-in-laws.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there in this world doing much needed work on this planet and bringing out their best version of themselves each moment. This takes work to always be the best version.. Our energy as mothers is interactive and contagious.

Hug that individual you love wholeheartedly, cherish them as much as you can because our moments will always be precious.  When moments expire, because they do, we only have the memories to hold on that we never hope for.
