Women’s health

When you hear women’s health, what comes to mind?.
Mind, body, and soul?;  Physical health,  mental health, and spiritual health? ,wellness?,  well being in the absence of diseases?.

Based on who you ask this question, you will get different answers. At this point, there is no right or wrong answer because people share from their lenses and lived experiences.

Despite healthcare advances in the past few decades worldwide, we still face wide gaps in research and treatment ability for areas that are unique to women.

We can relearn, unlearn, learn afew tips for our own wellness journey, and our care we partner with our care providers. We are the best advocate for your own health always. You are the only one who can share an accurate roadmap of what is going on with you and your progress.

Always ask open-ended questions because they push forward the conversation organically.  Challenge what is shared with you to better understand appropriate paths to follow.

Our health remains a roadmap that we need to treat with care and be patient with the map when things seem not to be at their best 🫂🫂❤️.

Follow up with care providers as needed or when needed. Take care of yourself because you will need to live in that body for the rest of the time you are around.

William Shakespeare stated that our bodies are our gardens – our wills are our gardeners.

With gratitude,
